Winterizing the Toyota with a small town twist

Well it's been getting colder and colder these days and I started to get a little concerned about my car. I purchased my vehicle a little over a year ago in Arizona and this will be it's first winter in Minnesota. My dad told me to take it to the shop and have them see if the anti-freeze checks cold enough. So I drove it in yesterday to the shop and lo and behold the lady at the counter was a lady from school that works in the fitness center. She said they didn't have time to get my car in that same day but since she works at the school she would be willing to come get my key from me in my classroom, drive my car to the shop, drive it back to school when it's all done, and even collect my payment and bring it back to the shop. Geez, how could I pass that up, door to door service - I didn't even need to go anywhere!! AMAZING! I guess it's all about who you know, where they work and how pretty of a smile you have on that day! If I keep this up, who knows maybe I'll even be able to get out of a speeding ticket...not that I have one to get out of.

Oh yes, this is one of the pros about living in a small town. A happy reminder of childhood.
