Caught in between two worlds - oh so different!

I went back to the "big city" (Minneapolis) for my two week vacation and I had a fabulous time. I did however, find myself having internal fights and anxiousness about how to shift gears from being in a town of 400 people vs 40,000 people; a town with a grocery store, thrifty white, and a gas station vs a town with wal-marts, targets, cub foods, malls and stores everywhere. By the end of my two weeks back home I was feeling like I had to constantly had to be going... going.... going.. to feel a sense of accomplishment. I have honest and truly become accustomed to living in a little town where I must find entertainment and enjoy being creative about finding ways to enjoy life without driving anywhere and it's kind of refreshing. I'm not saying that I never want to live in a/the big city again, I'm just saying that living out here in the woods has given me a great opportunity to enjoy life without always having to be doing something or going somewhere!

Challenge: Don't drive anywhere for an entire Saturday...just stay around the house and find something you enjoy doing - inside or out! Bet you can't do it without getting anxious.....but then if you continue trying my challenge....all of a sudden your brain will switch gears and you'll get anxious when your around others that always want to be going somewhere. haha!
