I promise - when I go back to the land of having lots of time on my hands, I will be adding several postings...don't give up on me just yet. Until then, here's a joke to keep you going.
What do you call a person who doesn't fart in public?? A private tutor.
I am tickled pink (my favorite color) by the humor in that and I'm really not sure why. I was standing in a very long line at Barnes and Noble the other day, so I picked up one of those calendars that you rip off the page every day - and read that joke and I literally laughed out loud. I debated buying the calendar right then and there, but I realized I was standing at the attention of several people in line and I was kind of embarrassed at my humor after making awkward eye contacts with several of my audience members. I quickly decided to quietly set the calendar back down on the table on continue to the checkout without the calendar. When I got home, I told my parents the joke - and they laughed until about the 3rd or 4th time they heard it, now they no longer laugh at me or the joke. (oh well - I'm going to keep telling it) Well anyways, the story goes... I had to go back and buy the calendar - and to tell you the truth I've already received my $6.00 worth out of that 1 joke...let alone the other 364 that are yet to come. It was well worth it!
